TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. General

These Terms and Conditions apply to all use of the THISISFROM website (thisisfrom.co) and to all orders placed through it. By accessing the website or placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms. THISISFROM reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the website following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

2. Platform Access

The THISISFROM website is open to all visitors. Anyone may browse our full collection and view pricing. Registered B2B customers, including architects, interior designers, stylists, and developers, may apply for a trade account to access exclusive trade pricing. B2B accounts are approved manually by THISISFROM. We reserve the right to approve or decline any application at our sole discretion.

3. Minimum Order Value

A minimum order value of ₪4,000 (excluding VAT and shipping) applies to all orders, retail and trade alike. Orders below this threshold will not be processed.

4. Prices & VAT

All prices displayed on the THISISFROM website are in ILS (Israeli New Shekel) and include VAT at the applicable rate.
Registered B2B customers, upon logging in to their trade account, will see prices excluding VAT. VAT will be added at checkout in accordance with applicable Israeli tax law. A tax invoice will be issued with every B2B order.
THISISFROM reserves the right to update prices at any time without prior notice. The price binding on both parties is the price confirmed in the written order confirmation.

5. Order Acceptance

Orders placed through the THISISFROM website are not binding until a written order confirmation has been issued by THISISFROM. Upon receipt of the order confirmation, the customer must verify that its contents correspond to the order placed. THISISFROM reserves the right to cancel or adjust any order in cases of pricing errors, stock unavailability, or any other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, any payment received will be refunded in full.

6. Payment

Full payment is required in advance before any order is processed or dispatched. We accept payment by credit card and bank transfer. Orders will not be picked, packed, or shipped until payment has been received and confirmed.
THISISFROM reserves the right to withhold delivery of any ordered goods until full payment has been received.

7. Cancellations

All products sold by THISISFROM are sourced and imported specifically per order. In accordance with Section 14c(d) of the Israeli Consumer Protection Law, the right of cancellation does not apply to goods that were imported especially for the customer following the transaction.
Once an order is confirmed and payment received, it cannot be cancelled. THISISFROM will have already initiated the sourcing process with its suppliers on the customer’s behalf.

8. Natural Materials

Many products in the THISISFROM collection are made from or incorporate natural materials including wood, stone, marble, rattan, ceramic, fabric, and leather. Customers acknowledge that:

Natural materials may exhibit variations in colour, grain, texture, and finish that differ from catalogue images or display samples. These variations are inherent characteristics of the material and do not constitute a defect.
Wood is a natural material that responds to changes in temperature and humidity by expanding and contracting. Minor movements and surface variations are a natural occurrence and are not considered faults.
Stone, marble, and concrete may absorb stains and require periodic maintenance. Variations in veining and surface tone are natural and expected.
Iron and metal components may develop oxidation over time. This is not covered under our returns policy.
Handmade items may differ slightly from one another in size, shape, and finish. This is a characteristic of artisanal production, not a defect.

No claims will be accepted on the basis of natural material variation.

9. Shipping & Delivery

All orders are fulfilled through THISISFROM’s logistics partner and dispatched under the THISISFROM brand.
We currently deliver within Israel. For international delivery inquiries, please contact us at maya@thisisfrom.co.
Delivery timeframes vary depending on product availability, origin, and logistics scheduling. An estimated delivery window will be communicated upon order confirmation. THISISFROM will notify the customer at each key stage of the process.
THISISFROM shall not be liable for delays caused by the logistics provider, customs authorities, force majeure, or any other circumstances outside its direct control.
If a delivery cannot be fulfilled to the agreed address, THISISFROM reserves the right to arrange storage at the customer’s cost and risk until delivery can be completed.

10. Damage in Transit

Any visible damage to packaging upon delivery must be noted on the delivery receipt before signing. If contents are found to be damaged, the customer must photograph the affected items and packaging immediately and notify THISISFROM at maya@thisisfrom.co within 48 hours of receipt. Claims submitted after this period will not be accepted.

11. Returns & Refunds

THISISFROM accepts return claims only in the following cases:

Items received in a damaged or defective condition
Incorrect items delivered

All claims must be submitted within 14 days of delivery to maya@thisisfrom.co, with photographic evidence and a description of the issue. Our team will respond within 2 business days.
Approved claims will be resolved by replacement, credit note, or refund at THISISFROM’s discretion. Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days of approval, via the same payment method used for the original transaction.

12. Retention of Title

Delivered products remain the property of THISISFROM until full payment has been received. THISISFROM reserves the right to reclaim goods in the event of non-payment.

13. Limitation of Liability

THISISFROM shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage, including loss of profit, loss of revenue, or loss of data, arising from the use of our website, products, or services. THISISFROM’s total liability in any matter shall not exceed the invoice value of the relevant order.
Catalogue images, descriptions, and dimensions are provided for guidance only. THISISFROM makes every effort to ensure accuracy but cannot guarantee that colours displayed on screen correspond exactly to the actual product.

14. Force Majeure

THISISFROM shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of war, terrorism, natural disasters, strikes, import or export restrictions, supply chain disruption, or any other force majeure event. If such circumstances persist for more than 6 months, THISISFROM reserves the right to cancel the affected orders without liability.

15. Intellectual Property

All content on the THISISFROM platform, including product imagery, descriptions, brand assets, and editorial content, is the property of THISISFROM and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written consent. Approved trade customers may use product imagery solely for the purpose of specifying or promoting THISISFROM products within their own professional projects and channels.

16. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Tel Aviv, Israel.
